Once the file(s) have been selected they then choose a folder to save the file(s) to and the software recovers them. has announced the release of FileSalvage 5.0, a new version of the data recovery software for Mac OS X. In the Explore A Drive mode, the user selects the drive or device they wish to recover deleted files from. FileSalvage then recovers all recognized files on that drive/device to a user selected recovery folder located on a different volume then the one being scanned. macOS Big Sur comes in with a lot of new improvements. In the Salvage All Files mode, the user selects the drive or device they wish to recover deleted files from.
